2009 Patriot with 5 speed transmission won't start
When the key is turned to start there is nothing-----no crank, no clicking, no sound, nothing. I'm leaning towards a bad ignition switch or the clutch safety switch(meaning you have to depress the clutch to start) is not working. I say this because the dealer put in a new transmission a month ago. It was under a lifetime warranty. They could have affected that switch since they put in a new clutch, release bearing, and hydraulic cylinder.
My question is: is there a common single point of failure that would cause this? Patty has 250,000 miles.
