Will a TJ Lange Hoist-A-Top work with a TK (2 dr) top?

Or will I have to add additional straps to keep the top secure?

Or, will I have to buy a new hoist?

Thx

It will take a slight modification, but I was able to make my tj hoist work with my JK. Note, my JK is a 2dr.

All I had to do was find a longer piece of square tubing for the tail and drill a hole to accept the rear hook. I think the front bars had to be extended out as well, but mine were long enough to do so without new pieces or drilling.

It can be done. Finding the balance with the center eye hook took a couple minutes, but wasn't difficult. I notice the JK hoist has a flat hook for the back that will allow the rear window to close - I'd like to have that since my top is hanging in the garage with back window open due to the "old" hook system used. I just never have called to ask about getting one.

If you see Hobbes, tell him I said "Hi".
