Gave the ole girl some love and attention. At just over 60k she got a proper detail and looks better than new. I always wash her down after wheeling, but it is amazing what a professional can do in a few hours.

Threw on some front and rear Teraflex pumpkin protectors... super easy upgrade, and probably necessary for my upcoming trip to Moab.

Did our first topless day with my wife on Sat. Her JK and ‘lil Willy helped the Ruby Mountain Rebels of Elko NV raise over $1000 for the local Committee Against Domestic Violence Harbor House.

Does anyone know if a superchips Flashcal F5 will work with manual transmission?

@amywest11 the best source for asking questions like your, would be to contact the manufacture direct. May take a few days to actually get in touch with them. Not saying there isn't anyone here with thoughts about the flashcal, but any info you get from the manufacture could be important to others who want the same setup.

My update on "what did you do today" our pay check went in early this morning due to the memorial holiday next Monday. This means I'll be calling our wheel installer and set up a time and date to have one tire mounted on those repo hardrocks. Next called Bonehead and told them to ship the modified Powertank drop brackets as it maybe a few weeks before we return to them for a visit. What next after the wheels/tires.. those Tyger star side steps. Once the tires are on the jeep we can better assess what's going on height wise. But if we're opting for the star steps, I'll have these shipped to bonehead for a re-coat. again going with the hammers gray color.

I don't know why it wouldn't. Most if not all of the functions it does can be used on any JK/JKU.

Soft top probs!!

WTF??? So this happened some how! How do I fix? SUPER noisy! I took the top down and tried to re-seat it, helped for 1 trip but came back. It used to take me any my husband both to clip the front clips but now they seem to be a lot easier to clip, effortless really. How does this happen???

Afternoon, @amywest11 in order to correct the forward portion of the soft top, one must start with removing or loosing the rear portion. rear window and side windows.. once this has been done, you can then re-anchor the forward soft top header. once the forward header has been seated you can then attached the rear window via the tailgate channel then attached the side windows. If by change your running doorless today or the top is down, there could be a weather seal issues with the forward windshield.

oh btw, this means removing the plastic flip tabs from the door surrounds in order to re-seat the header.

Went in to dealer to get my axle seal fixed under warranty. Received call 15min before they closed, the tech rear ended someone during a test drive to make sure repairs were good. Overall dealer was good to work with, I found no real damage to my rig, lol - could tell they hit a red vehicle (color transfer on my winch hook), small scratch in stinger (not even down to paint), and a small piece of paint missing off my offroad LED light (still works). Other vehicle I'm hearing didn't fair as well, and still waiting for police report.

92XJT, now you have had the "dealer" test your upgrades. Sounds like you have a good dealer who is willing to work with you. Sure happy nothing major was damaged. Missing paint is like going on a ride.

I took my '11 JKU in for the recall on the right side airbag. Everything was fixed in a couple of hours. As a courtesy, the new dealer (third dealer in a year) provided me with a list of all the maintenance items which I should get completed. The mileage is just over 70K, so some of these things are probably legit. Among the items: change the power steering fluid, fuel injection & throttle body cleaning, fluid changes for front and rear diffs as well as transfer case, service transmission, and replace spark plugs and wires. Total cost for all = $1702. I just glad I have already done some of this work when I bought the Jeep. I'll plan to do some of the other stuff over the next month or so since I'm not going on the trail very often these days.

My update is, I spent about 4 hours installing the Red Hound mud guards on the jeep.. the first two rear guards went on without any issues. The front pair, was a bit of a challenge, I forgot the 1/4 drill bit to attach a couple of push pins in the lower guards. Fortunately I was at a family gathering and was give a ride to the home depot for that drill bit. The guards are on securely now and will keep an eye on these over the next few weeks until the new wheels/tires are installed.
