Super chips question.

I have a chance to buy a super chips programmer from a friend. His JK is a 2008, mine is a 2014. Will this programmer work with my JK?

Should be fine. Wouldn't work if it was a '15.
Just make sure he 'unmarries' it from his Jeep before he gets rid of his Jeep or uses a different programmer on it. The programmer can only be used on one vehicle at a time and stores that info and the original programming from that vehicle. It must be unmarried before it will work on another.

You sure? The 08 had the 3.8L and the 2014 has the 3.6L. I could see if you bought one now it could work on both but if he bought it before the 3.6 was out then I'd say it definitely won't work.

It does depend on the model of the programmer...
FlashCal F5 is actually listed for all JKs, FlashPaq and TrailDash 2 breaks down into a couple year ranges.
