Steering Column/Steering Wheel Electronics

Hi All,

2011 JKU. Experiencing no power to steering column/steering wheel electronics, i.e. wipers, blinker, lights, all steering wheel controls (volume, cruise, etc). Before I go chasing gremlins, just wondering if anyone has had similar issues, and if so, what was the remedy.

Thanks,
Christian

If nothing on the column works, it must be a wiring connection to the main column harness. Was any work recently done? Airbag?
My 2011 will have clock spring issues (search jeep jk clock spring), but a quick tap ( or persuasive hit) at the 2 oclock position of steering wheel and all is well again.

if the CS has broke then the air bag light should be on. All functions to the steering wheel as well will not work. THis includes the horn, stereo functions anything on the steering wheel.

This part is well known to fail and is extended in warranty they about give them away, today.
