Shock help for RK xfactor 3.5" lift

Hey, I'm getting the mid arm RK Xfactor 3.5" lift and I'm going with the Fox res shock(non adjuster) and I've been reading that its better to go with a 4-6" lift shock with this kit, anyone have an opinion?
Thanks

Have you called RK and asked them for shock lengths? I also think I remember seeing the advised lengths posted on thier site.

I have no experience with the res. Fox shocks, only the Fox 2.0's.
With Fox, you want to go with the longer travel shocks. I believe I used the 4-6" lift length Fox 2.0 shocks on mine.
Jason @ KrawlOff-Road should chime in here and advise.

Thanks guys!

First, if your going to run a RK 3.5" I would recommend going to the 3.5" X Factor. The Mid Arm has just the front and rear lowers. The X Factor steps up to all 8 arms. This will greatly help the pinion angle front and rear so your drive line will thank you. Also, it will move the rear axle back 1" to re-center the wheels in the wheel wells. It is a much better all around setup for the 3.5" height. I would also budget for a new front shaft if you are going to plan on wheeling it:

Now for the original question. Yes, you would want the longer shocks. I would do the 4-6" length. Heck, that is the length we run on our 2Dr with a RK 2.5". You will be fine and your RK coils will use every bit of it!

Feel free to PM, email, or call us and we can help you get setup! We have some SMOKING deals right now... of course. Just let us know how we can help!

So for a 3.5 Rock Krawler lift....it's better to have a 4-6 lift fox 2.0 performance shock?

A RK 3.5 lift is going to be more in the 4.5" lift range. My RK 2.5 gained me al,oat 4" front and 3.5" rear. I'm using the Fox 4-6" shocks no problem with 3" bumps. I also bought them from Jason at KrawlOff-Road and am extremely happy with everything and the advice from Jason.

And sorry got swamped with the holidays. No worries our sales are still going on for a few more days! BUT, yes, I would do the 4-6" lift height shocks. If you order the lift from us, we will take care of you and get you the correct length shocks for your setup.
