Sentry Key Immobilizer System vs Kill Switch

In a recent post, there was a discussion about owners' location preferences for a kill switch.

Do JKs with the Sentry Key Immobilizer System need a kill switch? I just spent 1hr+ searching for ways to steal a car with a chipped key and could not find anything (towing excluded) short of impersonating a used car salesman and making a duplicate key based on the VIN.

I garage overnight but ride doorless so the Jeep is wide open when I park outside my home. This kill switch discussion got me concerned.

Thanks.

I have the same question but I understand the hesitancy to reveal the where as we don't want to tell the bad guys anything.
Feel free to PM me if you all have a hot tip.

I was thinking of fabbing up a circuit where you had to like turn on and off 3 times in 2 seconds for it to lock in. or something on that order. would be interested in any better idea.

Another idea of mine was where it would run for like 30 or 45 seconds then kill and then you would have to reset it or it would die. the theory being that the thief would now be in the street where dealing with it would be really hard to be under cover.

This last Idea would be worthless for those using a trailer type theft. unless set so short it was not on it.

My initial thought was a hidden fuel pump kill switch but I wonder if the effect will be that of the attached image.
