Rugged Ridge vs Tereflex tire carrier kit

I’m trying to decide which tire carrier to go with and hoping to catch a good sale later this month. I’m leaning towards Rugged Ridge, especially for the price difference and won’t go larger than a 35 on stock 2018 Rubicon wheels. Current plan is to go with 285x75 Ridge Grapplers. Any thoughts appreciated

I'm prejudiced, I have the TeraFlex one. Now, I kept my OEM carrier and only installed the TeraFlex hinge support. imho that is more than sufficient for my pizza cutter 35s on OEM alloy wheels. I know TeraFlex is more expensive, but I feel the quality is there to support the price.

Rugged is China as well. Why support Chicom's?

have the Rugged one, so far absolutely satisfied, no probs at all and is super sturdy. Just a 35" tyre plus HiLift and jerrycan but after 2 years of use still feels rock solid.
No more rattling and sagging hinges as it was with OEM

The Teraflex carrier is the same one that Mopar chose to brand as their HD carrier offering. No doubt it will be higher quality than Rugged Ridge. I chose the Teraflex carrier for my JK...

I'm going on 4 years with my Teraflex. I have no complaints at all on it.
