Remove a snorkel

Any advice on removing a snorkel? I will have a hole in my hood now, and also what stock (or other upgraded) air-intake parts will I need after it is removed?

What you'll need depends on what snorkel kit was installed. There's a lot of different ones available that use varying amounts of the stock parts.
I'd head to your nearest pick-n-pull junk yard that has the proper model year in their yard and grab anything yours is missing.
Or, watch Craigslist. OEM air boxes come up for sale cheap regularly when people install CAIs.
For the hood, same thing. Either find a complete used replacement or fabricate a patch/plug for the hole.

If you have the AEV snorkel, AEV makes a block off plate for the hood where the hole was cut out. AEV also uses the stock air box so all you need is the small intake piece.

It is an AEV. I found a good deal on a steel replacement hood. May go that route. I will look into the air-intake piece I need

Thanks
