Muffler specs?

I cannot hear myself think when driving doorless/Topless with the FlowMaster 40 muffler installed. Yes, I am getting older.
So, I am shopping for something quieter. Thinking about the FlowMaster Delta 50.

What is the pipe diameter for the JK exhaust pipe?

And any suggestions from the JK crowd on my next muffler?

2 1/2" is the stock OD exhaust. I don't have any recommendations on mufflers but you might add a resonator. I just ordered the Afe Mach high tuck system, hopefully it's quite enough for my liking. Hope this helps you in some way.

If you want something quiet, why not go back to the stock muffler or an aftermarket stock equivalent available at most retail auto parts store. Walker is a common brand they carry.

You aren’t getting any measurable performance increase from the flowmaster anyway on these Jeeps,

Too many mods to list. Too awesome to sell.

The Flowmaster 40 is a 2-chamber design that's quite aggressive sounding as you've noted. They typically also have a lot of drone & resonance.

The 50 Delta is a 3-chamber design and will not only be markedly quieter vs the 40 but it will also have a lot less drone & resonance.

Please PM me here on the forum or email me at [email protected] if you're interested in pricing for a muffler. I also have complete exhausts available if you wish.
