JK Infinity Audio Woofer speaker replacement

Is there a way to just replace the woofer speaker in the rear woofer enclosure that will return a better sound?

I see some replacement speakers at Crutchfield -- any experience with below woofer replacements?

dual 4-ohm voice coils
50-150 watts RMS power range

Rockford Fosgate P3SD2-8, $169
Punch Stage 3 shallow 8" subwoofer with dual 2-ohm voice coils

Memphis Audio 15-PRX8D4, $99
Power Reference Series 8" dual 4-ohm voice coil component subwoofer

Alpine S-W8D4, $119
S-Series 8" subwoofer with dual 4-ohm voice coils
power handling: 300 watts RMS (150 watts per coil)
grille not included

Kicker CompRT 43CWRT81, $159
CompRT shallow-mount 8" subwoofer with dual 1-ohm voice coils
injection-molded polypropylene cone with rubber surround
power range: 100-300 watts RMS
frequency response: 30-500 Hz

I replaced just the sub speaker in the 10 JKU enclosure.
Since I already had the other speakers replaced with Polk Audio, I replaced the sub with the same brand. Only thing that I did need to do was trim the plastic a little to get the sub cover flush again.
Did notice difference. Trying to figure how to describe it, but now notice two or more tones where it would sound closer to one long tone in the sub on the same song.

I went with this one. Also filled the box with polyfil but did not go with the peel-n-seal.

I went with the Pioneer TS-SW2002D2. Fit perfect under the stock grill. I filled the space behind it with poly-fil. Sounds much cleaner than the OEM but it's not going to register on any richter scales, at least not paired with the stock amp.

Pioneer TS-SW2002D2 is in route. Looking forward to installing it.

BTW, where is the stock amp located and what is the option to upgrade to get better woofer sound?
