Help, i'm trapped. Well not yet.

Not sure if this is in the owner’s manual, (too lazy to look – just being honest) but how would you get out of your Jeep if the power went out and you were locked inside? Assuming you have the power windows and locks of course.

you would press the circle lever on your door to unlock it and get out.

Such a simple answer.
How do you feel now!

Some people have added a pull cord for the inside of the tail gate.

Please don't. It's comforting to know I'm not the only one...

Pop out the Freedom panel and exit via the roof if you have a hard top.

Use a key and slash through the soft top or spend time using a tool to unzip the soft top window from the inside.

Or you could just unlock the door manually.

Perhaps the stupidest question yet.
Maybe I should be banned for a few days again.

JIMBOX is that a real functional pull handle?

Heh Heh, yup, I put it in last summer when we slept in the JK and I didn't like shifting around to get out the rear doors

Wow, pretty cool mod. Before I search, do you have a thread on the install?

NOPE, that job can't be advertised, because of internet liabilities

You know, children in the back--for the same reason none of the auto mfg put an internal handle release, in their SUV's vans-etc

It's pretty simple, you can get the emerg. brake cable assy (knob, cable, brackets) for $20 bucks at any auto store and once you take that black vent off-look in there and you can see how easy it is, to hook up a release !!
