Is this a good spare tire carrier?
I am looking at buying a 16 jku iwth this setup for a spare tire carrier and back bumper.
Is this a good setup? or how can I improve it? right now I cannot open the glass part of the back door cause it hits the 35" tire. lol
need to look at this before I buy.
the bumper looks like at one time it had a swing away but has been cut off. Not sure what it would take to replace/repair it.
Here is couple of pictures. Maybe you guys can give me some suggestions. leave it, cut it all off and start again or make some kind of modifications?

In short, no.
Big, heavy, limits use of the window and because it requires drilling holes in the body, removing it isn't an option for most.

That kind of confirms my thoughts. I was lookingg at buying this one. But I think I am going to pass and just find a pavement princess and build it the way I want it.
