Can you siphone a JK?

Just wondering if I need a gas lock or not?

I seriously doubt it with the anti siphon and backflow valve if it is working properly....

Yes you do need it. Not so much regarding someone trying to take gas out, but unfortunately it's at perfect kid height for someone to put something in other than gas. It's cheap insurance even though a locking gas cap can ultimately be broken. It might only delay someone from screwing with it but it's better than nothing. Dirt, rocks or something worse can easily be put in there. I'm not cynical, just a little due diligence. As always, locks are for honest people.

The backflow valve (working or not) prevents a siphon hose from getting in to the tank.

if you crawl under and look at the gas tank fill line, its freakin long! you'd need a good 5 feet or so of tubing to get in to the tank in the first place. second issue is the amount of suction you'd have to produce, and if you did, you would be very popular
