That looks really nice. I just got my AEV tire carrier delivered today and am going to install it with the stock bumper too. Any advice on the install or did it go without any issues? Thanks.

The AEV was my first pick but I couldn't get it shipped for a half-decent price. $1200 shipping and all, way too much for a freakin' tire carrier, but I still love the damn things.

Can't say I like the AEV because I dont want a full width bumper or to keep my stock look. Looks like a nice product though.

Hey John,
Congrats on the new build! I know you're familiar with AEV's quality and fit, so the install is really straight forward. The only cautious area is, taking your time when drilling and cutting the back bumper out. The plastic varies near the bottom edge, so don't cut real deep.

Good Luck and post some pics when you're done.

The Expidition One and AEV bumpers are full width. The Rock-Slide Engineering is half way between a full width and a stubby. Doesn't look too bad with the flat flares.

The LOD is available in full or stubby. This is the one I'm probably going to get as I want a stubby with the tailgate linkage.

Know of any others that are stubby and have the linkage?
