Adding Remote Start

Does anyone know what it would cost to add the remote start feature to a 2018 JK? Like factory, not after market. I have it on my 08 and would really like to add it to a 18 JK I'm considering purchasing.
thanks in advance!

Why not get theif you are purchasing a leftover 18 from the dealer get them to throw it in as part of the deal.

Otherwise your best bet is to call your favorite dealer and ask.

If you want a factory remote start, a dealership needs to do the job. Things like this are controlled by 'option codes' in the Jeep's computer. Depending on how your Jeep is equipped, it may already have what it needs. You might just need the keys with the remote start button and a dealership to plug into the Jeep and activate the option code to turn it on.
This option is only available if the Jeep has an automatic transmission. If it's a manual, you will have to go aftermarket.

Honestly with all the hassle a factory installation is and will cost I'd just put in an aftermarket one.

The price of the moose kit at quadratec is $315 and it says requires 2 to 3 hours to install plus requires the dealer to flash your Jeep for it.

I 2nd the Fortin. I installed one of these in my 2014 in 25 minutes. It was all plug and play and used the factory key. 2018's may be different though but it's worth a quick check.
