3.6 Aluminum Thermostat Housing

I have been searching parts catalogs and the internet and think I may have found an aluminum thermostat housing that will work.

P/N 68322748AA

It is for a 2013 Ram 1500 with the 3.6. It fits in the plastic crossover tube and the holes line up. It appears to be almost identical except for two items.

1. The hose connection is angled more toward the radiator.

2. The thermostat appears to be different.

From what I can tell from the net it should be a 194F thermostat so it should be fine.

Has anyone tried this? If so did it work?

Not sure why you want to do that. Mine cracked when my water pump was replaced. After that it has been fine. I am at almost 95,000 miles. The water pump failure abd thermostats housing cracked around 38,000 miles, so it’s been good for a while.

Too many mods to list. Too awesome to sell.
