I get 18 mpg in the winter and as high as 23 mpg in the summer with mostly local driving.

I'm getting around 18.1 - 18.5mpg on my commute. I drive about an hour each way averaging about 55mph.

I drive a '14, 2 door, Sport, 6spd manual, 3" of lift, 35's & 4.10's.

The issue you'll run into with the Rubicon and subsiquent fuel economy are the higher gear ratios. The 4.10's (an option in the Rubicons) are a very low ratio for the 32" tires they come standard with. The 3.73's (standard ratio) are more reasonable for the 32's in my opinion and will yeild better gas mileage. Besides, it's about smiles per gallon.

'14 JK Sport, Lifted, mud-tires, stuff 'n' things.
'85 Jeep J20, "Dorothy" currently in rebuild.

My 2014 6-speed Sahara averaged 18 MPG overall, 20 on road trips - if I kept the speed at 70 MPH.

The 2013 6-speed Rubicon I recently sold got 17 MPG overall, 18 on road trips - again keeping the speed around 70 MPG.

The 4.1 gears and 6 speed in the Rubi means you are shifting a lot and will lose a little MPG compared to lower gears

i am pulling about 14 to 15 mpg, 2015 JKU HR, most of my driving is in town and i am not really light on the throttle..

still gettiung used to the whole v6 thing.. especially at 6000 feet..
went from a V8 Camaro putting down 650 to the ground at 6000 feet to a wimpy FCA v6 at same altitude..

i am sure my mpg will go up after i either super charge the v6 or put the LS3 in it..

You figure that spending $5k to $15K on a SC/LS swap will get you 1 or 2 mpg ??

You have other reasons, right ??

Thanks for the input guys! I used to own a 2014 Rubicon Unlimited Auto and I used to get a pretty consistent 18mpg. I was hoping I would gain 1-2mpg being stick shift and 2dr but if I can at least get 18mpg I would be happy.
