Out wheeling with my Jeep club in the Shenandoah mountains. Ran across a camp of 20-30 guys, most drunk and shirtless, sitting around a campfire with sofas, recliners, a few coffee tables, and a floor lamp. 15-20 pickups, some with those truck bed campers on the back. They all looked at us like we had just intruded on their holy land until one guy waved and they all raised their drinks to us and hollered as we honked and rode by.

The wife and I were out exploring near a local ski resort one summer and came across a group off 10-15 people dressed all satanic. They had all these lights and appeared to be filming but I never really saw any cameras, just looked that way from the lights. It was dark, heavily wooded and we were low on gas. Freaked us both out. Didnt stop or slow down to investigate, just got the hell outa there.

1- Riding 4 wheelers in NY few years ago. See this house along the trail so stop to check it out. Place is full of light bulbs still in the packages (everything from regular lamp to big florescent bulbs). Keep looking through the house and find a back room full of books all about the devil, excorcism, satan, and whatnot. When I say full of books I mean up to the window full. Needless to say my buddies and I decided to get out of there real quick like.

2- Old story my dad told me him and his brother were wheeling in woods that butted up to a military base. Got to this open field and had lights shining out into it. Guys in ghillie suits with rifles proceeded to approach the truck and tell them they were in the middle of an unauthorized area of something. Would be a freaky site to see at night lol

Well I'm sure I'm not the first but me and my wife passed some couple doing it in bed of their truck... I know that's really normal but the weird part was they did not stop when we passed and they had no blankets... It was a very awkward drive by. I think they got a thrill of it. :/

Up in the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, if you follow the road that extends beyond the start of HWY 41 and find the path to Keystone Harbor, then keep going you'll find this little treasure. If you are hiking or off-roading you can spend the night or nights at this cabin in the middle of nowhere. I want to say it was built in the 40's and taken over by the Conservatory. All they ask is that you follow the rules and leave the place in better shape than when you found it. Sign the guest log too.

That is awesome. I'd be leary of the bed sheets though...

I dont really have any wheeling stories, or creepy stories at that, but i do urban explore and take pictures of some pretty cool places in North Texas. Alot of the places i go to are supposedly "haunted" but Ive never had any experience with anything nor did I know about it before going. I would really have to dig up pics from my hard drives but heres two i have on my website right now

This is an abandoned theater in Fort Worth, Tx. Its really old school and has several levels. Supposedly some squatters live in the upper levels. Towards the back of the theatre above the seats facing the screen, theres like a "control room" where you can see above the whole auditorium.

I went up the stairs to see if i could find the door to it but did not go too far down the hallway as i started hearing some people talking, real light mummbles, probably coming from one of the rooms on the second level. Really didnt feel like bothering with anyone for a picture.

This is a an old abandoned meat packing company plant. This place is filled with ruins and there are several buildings in one huge lot of land just outside of fort worth. Everyone here knows about them. I have so many more pictures of this place, the main building has 7 different levels and theyre all a bit different. Filled with graffiti now. One of the levels is supposedly "haunted" and has a bunch of devil worshiping paintjobs

This is the only photo i have on my website currently from another abandoned building in Fort Worth. Used to be an electric company.

If anyone is interested i can go through my hard drives and find all my urban exploring photos.
