I know the feeling. I'm waiting on a redelivery from Fed EX of my master/slave cylinder to see if it fixes my "stalls with the clutch in problem. I put a sign up so they know my address. UPS told me that my address doesn't exist. I live 30' from the major highway Route 29N here.

Replaced the passenger side outer U-joint and Wheel bearing. U-joint was really bad. The PO did not take care of this TJ. I feel like I rescued it from a bad man. LOL
Next: a tie rod end, cut the plow bracket off, water pump, and wait for the suspension kit to come in.

Replaced the u-joints in my adams shaft (after 3 years of use). It's far smoother now at all speeds, and had the unintended effect of curing my transmission trouble (nv3550). It had been popping out of 3rd gear on hills or hard acceleration. Anything about half throttle would make it pop. I thought it was my transmission mount so I was going to replace it with a ucf lo pro in preparation of a belly up, and if that didn't work I was thinking I'd have to replace the transmission. I'm still going to do the mount. It's toast.

When my neighborhood was new, it wasn't in most systems, so GPS, Google Maps, etc., would autocorrect it from "Drive" to "Lane," and change the last digit of the zip code, which would put people on a road about 10 miles away that, fortunately, doesn't have my house number. I got a lot of confused calls from delivery people the first few years I lived here.

Got tired of the bikini top flapping and the occasional loud pop ringing the ears so I cut some foam and cable tied it into place. That along with the PVC spreaders I made make a huge difference. I also did the JK-TJ headlight swap. Picked up the lights for free on swap shop and got some $8 H4-H14 adapters so it’s all plug and play. Huge difference at night plus the advantage of changing bulbs on the fly or upgrading is nice to have. Pardon my poor picture quality. Later on I’ll paint the white portions of the PVC but they don’t bother me for now.

DAMN!!! Touch up paint is your friend (and cheap) and your grille will still respect you in the morning for suggesting that it needs makeup.

My grille is just as bad. It's beyond touch up paint. The whole front end is standing by to stand by for a respray

How do you guys get so many chips? Must be a city thing? I'm literally on gravel roads every day and only have a few marks.

20 years of hauling *** behind other jeeps/ trucks. My paint is somewhat dark so you have to get within 10 feet to tell. That white shows it way worse. I imagine the newer jeeps won't get it as bad since the grilles are plastic and give a little more to minor impacts. This steel plate straight into the wind gives the paint a beating

I found some pictures I didn't know I had of my Jeep. First one with the swoosh was from 2010 a few months after I purchased it and the second is a year later.

Looks good Boogie. Did your clutch parts arrive yet? If so, did it fix your issue?

Made and installed some paracord door stop straps to replace the nylon strap ones my wife made about 8 years ago, to replace the oem ones. Also added a 2" section of washer hose on each side, split lengthwise, to cover the pinch weld near the inside strap mounting pins. Apparently that rough edge was what was wearing out my previous straps. Now when the doors are opened, the paracord straps rest on the washer hose bits.
