Finished the 6 middle body mount repairs today. Not pretty but they will work. Welded 3/16 underneath and 16 gauge on sides to replace 4 of the 6 that were rotted. I also needed a little lift to clear the Artec 3 link brackets so it worked out.

Welded the passenger artec lower control arm mount to the axle and just need to weld the frame bracket on to complete the 3 link front.

What’s left before I go wheeling in April:
Finish 3 link
Build track bar
Weld exhaust back together because I had to cut it out to clear the bracket
Rear shock mounts upper and lower
Genright tank
Other misc stuff.

97 TJ 37s custom long arm
Gen right stretch tank
03 TJ buggy project. Stretched tub to LJ, Goat Built chassis, tons 42” pit bulls

Passed an emissions test. 14 years and less than 29,500 on the odometer. Gets the guy running the machine every time.

Is the RMS leaking? I've had bad experiences buying vehicles that were driven less than 2,000 miles a year. Things tend to leak more from lack of use. I sold my 03' on 35s with 26,000 miles on it to a car dealer for $12,000 in 2010.

I hardly drove my 99 for about 18 months after I purchased it. When I finally drove it I started seeing a little transmission fluid on the ground. Was a little concerned and took it down to local 4bye shop to get it looked at. He said it's most likely leaking because it hasn't been driven? The tranny wasn't down on fluid so he told me to drive it for awhile. Said to watch for any tranny fluid on the ground and check the dip stick more often.

To make a long story short after driving it for about week it completely stopped leaking and hasn't done it in the past 3 years. The 4bye shop saved me some money as they didn't try to take advantage of the situation.

Changed the engine oil, transmission oil, and transfer case oil. Redline MTL for the transmission. Royal Purple for the transfer case. Whatever my mechanic uses for the engine. (I trust him.)

Replaced my lower control arms, both front and rear, with Rock Krawler adjustable arms and replaced sway bar disconnects with Rubicon express. Flushed the coolant, differential(front and rear) and transmission fluid flush.

Dropped the shaft off at the welder to fix the pinch bolt problem. Changed the oil, flushed the coolant, tried to bleed the brakes and replace the brake fluid to find out 3 of the bleeder screws are seized so I’ll be replacing the calipers soon.

Every conversation should include at least 1 movie quote.

Plasti-dipped the hood because it is oxidized, and I was bored. I need to repaint it eventually. And replaced my old lights with the newer model.

Did you change all of the fluid or just the fluid in the pan?...

Supposed to get 6"+ of snow and my clutch is screwed up, so I can't drive it. I hope it's just a master/slave cylinder problem. This is our first and only accumulating snow of the year.
