Well I am back in another jeep. I bought it a few months ago. I have been busy with it. This is my 3rd Wrangler, 2nd TJ. I will start another build thread soon.
I am planning on doing a seat swap today.
I just got new tires and cut my fenders in the last week. So I figured I better get in gear and start posting again.
I find I am addicted to the forum. Whenever I have a free minute I am going through the tech section. Great builds and inspiration there. Keep up the great work guys.

When I first bought her. The white one.

Already had some goodies. 4.0L 5spd Brand new 33inch BFG all Terrains, 10,000 lbs superwinch, LED Fogs, 4inch RC, Smittybilt stinger, monsta lined, tub... ect.
What really had me excited for it was that it was towed every winter down to florida so it never had any harsh Canadian winters with tones of road salt. Frame is really solid, had been por 15'nd. Well taken care of.

As it sits today.

Will take some pics of the seat swap. The base plates are totally different I am going to have to do some cutting and welding to make them work. But they are going to be nicer than the Green and Tan sahara seats I have now.

Taking it in a few hours to go pick up my new HPD30 Im getting for $100.

Cant wait to start building it up... probably going with 4.56 gears (I run 33" tires now), a truetrac (or Ill transfer my Aussie over from my LP) and then other stuff too.

Itll be nice to have amazing caster, pinion angle, more strength, and more clearance!

Looking good. What seats are you going with? I swapped mine about a month ago and couldn't be happier with the results. The first one took about 5 times longer than the second one. It was pretty straight forward ... once I figured out what I wanted to do!

Here's how it went ...

Painted my rims with black plasti-dip. Finally got rid of most of the shiny bits!

I also made a CB mount (since I couldn't find one exactly like I wanted). Now if I could just get the SWRs a bit lower!

So I went and picked it up... got it home and gave it a quick little look over... u joints are solid, gears are solid, and they even appear to be 3.73s! I might actually install the axle prior to my regear this spring now haha.

Drove it to A-Basin (uphill) into a strong head wind often in 4th gear at 3400rpm. Like driving a parachute...

Seriously considering getting a second set of tires to shed weight and rolling resistance.

They were new from Rock Auto. Last year that zj was made, upcountry v8 springs, I believe. 37" to the underside of the fender (lowest pt of the fender flare) front and back.

This was pre-install of the front track bar and trans drop.
