If you are looking to do it yourself, U-POL Raptor is a very good choice. It requires to be sprayed on though so you would need a good air compressor.

I herc'd the inside of my tub. Cost $55 for the kit at wally world, rolled it on myself and has stood up to all kinds of abuse of the year its been on. Highly recommend that.

x2 on herc, I did it too, but used the plastiloke stuff from wally world; still really good.

the best thing to do is take your time in the prep, there is plenty of write ups were just search

i just did the duplicolor bed liner in mine last weekend. So far i like the way it turned out but i am not finished yet. All i have done is the rear and tail gate. It isnt as thick as i was thinking it would be but i may end up putting a few more coats of it on. Prep is definetly the key if you want this stuff to stick properly.

im in there with the herculiner. make sure you take your time in doing prep, because i have seen the stuff flake off due to a quick and sloppy prep job on another rig.

How hard does the Herc get? Like is it abrasive?

I've used the Duplicolor before, and it had a bit of a rubbery feeling to it, if memory serves.

I have 2 young kids that love to crawl around in the back of my Jeep, so I've been leaning toward the Duplicolor. I was just wondering how the Herc would be on them.

i did herculiner, it has been on for 2+years now and it has held up good. it is very abrasive though, so if you are worried about that for your kids i'd just find a place likes sams or costco that does line-x.

any squids???

Any squids or costies out there???

It would probably be crappy but some lying down some non skid like on a cutter would be pretty abrasive!!! I would imagine it would be pretty durable too, it last pretty well on coast guard cutters. I am not sure exactly what it is though, have to find a boatswain for that info. Although it would be rough on bare feet that is for sure.

I did the duplicolor about 6 weeks ago and it came out great. Its not nearly as rough as herculiner but also not as thick. It comes out great sprayed and you can vary the texture by the air pressure and distance. Also it comes in spray cans so touch up is simple.
