I too just installed the Banks Monster Exhaust with Black Tip and absolutely love it. Nice little growl to it but not tuner car overbearing

I put an 18" Magnaflow glass pack (total length of the glass pack was 22") on my 06 4.0 and it sounds fantastic. I get compliments all the time and people asking what I did to it. Not too loud but has a nice mean deeper growl to it.

Yep. I had a Flowmaster standard 40 and it droned bad. Replaced it with a Kolak kit with the Flowmaster 50 delta and it sounds nice with no drone. Took a few weeks for the sound to grow on me, but now I love it. Might have just needed some soot to build up in it.

Any chance you guys have some sound clips you can put up? I've looked into these as well, but last time I did exhaust on a vehicle (on my old Mustang) what someone said it would sound like form their experience is not the same experience I had.

I also have the Banks monster cat back and i think it sounds amazing! It only has a little drone right below 2000 rpm but sounds good and is kinda quiet towards 2500 rpm which is perfect and it also sounds great at 3000+

I'm running a stock exhaust and don't hear a thing. Just as I like it.

Here's a decent sound clip from the magnaflow on my LJ with stock manifold and cat. Don't mind the tapping sounds when driving....

One thing to consider when listening to clips is what the rest of their exhaust is. CA emissions with the 2 precats will be quieter than an older TJ with federal emissions, maybe they deleted their main cat if they have CA emissions, etc. I tore a hole in my main cat and temporarily replaced it with a straight piece of pipe. Made my exhaust easily twice as loud, and a LOT of people delete that main cat if they have the minicats. I went to 2 shops in a row that tried to get me to let them weld in a straight piece of pipe instead of the MagnaFlow cat I provided simply because the OBDII wouldn't notice. I mention it because what you end up with might not sound like someone else's with the same muffler.

The longer the glass pack the smoother and nicer it sounds. Don't like the sound of yours?

The flowmaster 50 series sounded great. It is a lower tone then the 40/44 series and the "drone" is not nearly noticeable.
