switch blanks for the dash?

The previous owner of my '97 TJ installed an alarm system. I ripped it out, but there's still an ugly switch and a red LED on that panel under the temperature controls. Where do I find the blanks for that panel?

Its part # 56007329.

Not sure if its still available, but you can try ordering one from the dealer or one of the online Mopar parts dealers.

Here for example:

Or use the switch to operate your fog lights/driving lights/lockers/air horn/siren/nuclear death ray/whatever. You get the point.

Are you talking about these blanks? If so, I went to Jeep and ordered them from the dealer with the part #, and drilled in my own switches. I like how it looks.

Why would you remove an alarm system from your vehicle?

For the same reason that I want to remove the one that the PO put in mine. It is crap. I never understood why the PO had an alarm installed that goes off when the hood or doors are opened but not the tailgate. If you set the motion sensor high enough to detect anybody reaching into the Jeep, a strong gust of wind flapping the soft top will set it off also.
