Stolen

Admin please move if needed.

I have reason to believe it was spotted in Maryville, TN but please keep sharing and looking out for Mud Life Crisis. Hopefully my detective in Knoxville can find out more. Thank you all so much!

STOLEN from Marriott Residence Inn on Langley Place in Knoxville after 10 p.m. Sunday night, August 18, 2019.
I paid cash for this 2004 Jeep Wrangler X back in 2011 so this wasn' t a repo.
I drove here from Florida for a temporary job assignment.
Dirty bastards!

The hard doors were on and locked along with the tailgate. The floor picture is showing the Safe Floor I had installed.
Silver Mud Life Crisis decal on hood. Silver Wiggle Like A Fish decal above rear wheels. Pittsbutgh Pirate spare tire cover. Florida license 81 CPT on Florida Supports Firefighters specialty license plate. Retired Houston Firefighter decal on tailgate. Retired IAFF decal on tailgate. Warn locking hubs on front. Ford 8.8 axle in rear. 4" lift with red long arms. 35" Maxxis Bighorn tires on American Racing AR23 polished aluminum 15 x 8 rims. Low profile transfer case skid plate. Hanson bumpers front and rear. Smittybilt 9500 winch. Black soft top with black Spider Shade.

Good luck getting it back, that really sucks. The same thing happened to my red TJ about ten years ago, I never saw it again.

When you have a choice, buy American made.

Sorry to hear about your Jeep being stolen. Be sure that you or local PD notifies the Border Patrol. Most Jeeps stolen here are in Mexico within 8 hours. Yours may be headed our way; I'll keep an eye out for it.

(I-75 -> I-10 -> I-35 to Laredo and into Mexico) 17 hours from Knoxville.

Thank you all. I remember seeing your posts, Jerry, about your stolen Jeep.
There is a big Jeep event in Pigeon Forge, TN this weekend and the locals tell me Jeep theft goes up every year at this time. Almost as if everyone knows a theft group exists in the area, yet they haven't been caught!
Some "people" are worse than dog vomit.

When I lived in Knoxville I always heard stories of cars getting stolen and taken to Cocke County to be stripped for parts.

Yikes! That's horrible!

Hotel parking lots are always my biggest concern when traveling as it's the one time that my TJ is mostly likely to be parked overnight out in the open. A couple things I use is a Blueshyhall steering wheel lock (slightly better than a Club), and also before a recent trip, I purchased a 4G Spectrum Smart GPS tracker that offers a monthly plan (both are on Amazon). The tracker is mostly sold to monitor teenage drivers, but you can setup a "geo-fence" that it will text message if the vehicle moves out of an area. (I realize nothing is perfect.)

Anyway... I'll hope for the best!
