My honest review.

Got everything installed and took it for a half hour test drive on the roads that jarred me with the small bumps. 100% improvement and I'm completely satisfied with them and thanks Kolak for the great price and fast shipping! Thanks Jerry B for talking me into them, My old shocks were less than a year old. I will be buying another set for my other Jeep too. My only issue was with how my front shocks arrived. They had steel sleeves installed in the bushings and no bar pins even came with them. The sleeves were bonded to the bushing so bad that it wasted over an hour of my time to get them out (I don't have a press, I have a BFH). Not to mention I had to hammer out and use the old bar pins from the shocks I removed. The Rancho bushings are also square with a lip on them, making it a PITA to try to install my old bar pins. Luckily I found some Zone Offroad hour glass shaped bushings I had laying around. Made everything so much easier. I was told they came that way because they weren't Jeep specific because of the length I ordered. Funny thing is, the rear shocks were just as long and came with everything installed and took 5 minutes to install. Oh well, it's all done and they ride very good. Nothing I've ever had rode any better and the price was excellent. My old shocks were great on large bumps and anything offroad, but horrible on the smallest crap on the road.

I installed mine yesterday as well and took the Jeep out to run some errands around town. Certainly not an off-road test, but I am very pleased with the performance on-road. Commercial driveways would previously throw me side to side as all 4 tires passed over. Thatís gone. I went through a gas station parking lot with the fuel tank opening/bumps in the ground. Those will normally toss the Jeep around pretty good too, but the new shocks smoothed that out too.

I didnít have the bar pin issue because I ordered shocks to fit a stock Wrangler, so they were already installed.

Also, keep in mind that I replaced the factory shocks, which had 170K miles on them. Iím pretty sure ANY shock would be an improvement over what I had.

I didnít know there was a member here who sold these. I ordered mine from Amazon for $231.

My install issues might have been caused because I ordered them for a 5.5" lift height to fit my needs. I did more testing today and they are SO much better than my other shocks. I think they will get even better after they get used more. I drive my Jeeps a lot.
