You sure that's a real Sailcloth top? Real Sailcloth (which is made by Bestop) definitely does not leak in the least, I'd check with who you bought that from. With two TJs, I'm on my third Sailcloth top (none ever wore out, just "circumstances") and none ever leaked, not even close.

When you have a choice, buy American made.

I'd contact Rampage and tell them it's leaking like a sieve. Maybe they're paying for Sailcloth and don't know they're getting Failcloth instead.

When you have a choice, buy American made.

My Rampage sailcloth top is dark grey inside.

Not sure if relevant.

In the installation instructions & warranty info, Bestop & other makers mention tops sometimes need to be sprayed with waterproofing products. Bestop makes their Protectant, but you can use 303-aerospace protectant, and other products similar to what you'd use to waterproof your boots.

It might not have been waterproofed enough at the factory...I'd buy Bestop Protectant or 303 and that should do the trick.

It's barely stopped raining since putting on my Rampage Sailcloth top, and I've never seen a hint of moisture inside, so I find that odd.

Definately call Rampage. Top should not leak like that and you should not have to "treat" a new top to make it waterproof.

Have you called yet? I would have been fairly frustrated if I had a new, leaking top.
