Rolled My Jeep

Hi All, A few weeks ago after a wheeling trip in an unfamiliar location and rolled the jeep on the way out. It was late at night and i took a wrong turn to go home, the road went form payment to dirt all too fast. Found a huge 7 foot rout in front of me. (TJ head lights suck) The front wheel caught after trying to avid it and caused the jeep to slid side ways, as i was trying to compensate I started sliding the other direction . Once i taped the breaks she started to roll lol Thank god we didn't get hurt at all!!!

Any way i rolled it back over and pulled the pugs, cranked to remove all the oil and replaced with new plus and she fired right up. Now that the jeep is running great! (almost better then before haha) I need to get the body right

Question - How can i get the doors to close/ I do live in Myrtle Beach but even sc the winters are cold. Its been a cold ride the last few weeks, she's my DD. Do you guys think hi-lift or come alone and a hammer get this thing good enough to straighten the doors out or is the tube trash? She's not a show jeep just a Weekend warrior and my DD

Thanks guys any advice will be apprechated

I can't believe your still driving that think! Hi-lift jack should do it, just be careful. make sure you have it secured good. Jeep needs to beef up there front windshield, they all seem to do that when they roll. what speed did u crash at?

yeah, I found a used windshield frame (with cracked glass) and a roll cage talk the guy into selling it too me for just 250 ( I thought it was a steal). But once I got it driving again i started really looking at the tub and started to think i might be scrap metal. Im only 21 trying to get thro school in a MB winter so a new tub right now isn't really in option until this summer. I looked the frame over really good and it seems to be straight. the clearance between the two back wheels and the frame are off a little but i thought thats how all TJ bodies sat (could be wrong) but thought a wheel spacer or something dose that ? Took it to the body shop and the guy said he thought it was straight as well. he quoted me 650 to put it on the starchier and had no guarantees the doors would even close. Oh and Jake i was only going 30-35 max .

Another question- I have the new roll cage but have yet to put it on in hopes of maybe being able to use it to straighten the tub out some more ----Thoughts---- (Not even sure if the new one will line right right now )

Can take as many pics at as many angles as you guys want !

Thanks for your help

Pretty sure you can get a new/used tub for much less than $650. If the frame is truly straight (Get a frame shop to measure) then that is the route I would take.

Also, the stock rollbar is considered a one time use throwaway item.

The stock rollbar is not considered a rollbar at all, merely a windshield frame support, a place for the door surrounds to bolt, and a place for people to velcro those overpriced handles

Youre lucky you had a hardtop on or the windshield would have collapsed more than it did.

New tub is a must. get that frame checked out first. Id look into a sprot cage setup after that. Poly or KOZ

Glad you made it though that

The A-Pillar (Your Windshield Frame) is the weakest link in the factory roll cages.

If your replacing the tub you might want to invest in a roll cage (says he who has not)
