Replacing Custom (Factory?) Decals

Hi all,

Anyone ever seen these stripe decals on another TJ? I'm going to do some paint restoration, and will remove them in the process. Would like to find an exact match (or order one custom) to put on after the paint job.

Any recommendations?

Looks like something those older "Islander" models had- But I am probably wrong

I like the islander pic. But, anyone have any advice on where to find decals like this?

Probably easiest to get them made locally. A pic with dimensions should be all a decal place would need to make similar.

Thanks, good idea. I'm new at this, but I'll look around for a local decal place. Also am finding some online shops that offer "multi-pin-stripes". Might send one of them a pic with dimensions.

I have a suggestion. If the OP's doing a paint restoration, why remake those ugly, outdated YJ looking decals.

p.s. What happened to Biffgnar? He would have moved this to GD.

Haven't heard from Biff in forever. I'd like to know if he ever installed his new supercharger.

My mistake on the wrong forum. This was the only TJ-specific one I saw, but yea, I guess decals fit best in GD.

Had them on my 91. Never liked them...Couldn't get them off either. They were petrified or something. Clean sides look better but that's just an opinion. Hit the local sign guy they will make you anything you want
