Removing stock fog lights on a TJ

I just received my new front bumper and was wondering if there are any tricks or things I should watch out for before removing the stock fog lights from the front bumper. I plan on reattaching them to the new tube bumper. The new one has the mounting tabs for fog lights. I plan on replacing the stock fog lights down the road, but right now - the budget says "nay nay". Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Smitty

I think all you have to do is unplug them from the harness that's just inside the fender, then unbolt them. I hope your mounts on the new bumper are within reach of the stock harness! Good luck.

Unplug them and one bolt inside the hollow stock bumper.

yes its a fairly simple process.. unplug the wire harness and next grab a 13mm socket and unbolt it.. then to put back do the same just in reverse ..

Yep. And if the mounts aren't within reach, Teraflex sells 10" extensions that are direct plug-ins.

-I got everything off ok, but there is no way the wiring plug is gonna reach the lights. They mount in the middle in front of the grill. I looked on Teraflex's website, but I could not find any harness extensions for the fog lights. I don't think 10" is going to be long enough. (that's what she said last night-ha-ha!).
Anyway, any input would be helpful. Do after market fog lights plug into the stock harness under the fenders? Smitty
