Part differences between a TJ and LJ - Help appreciated

Good morning - I recently bought a 2005 LJ Unlimited. Trying to figure out what parts from a TJ will fit a LJ vs. which are specific. The jeep came with a hard top and I'd like a soft top option, but I don't think the soft top frames are interchangeable, but can the door surrounds, tailgate bar and header channel from a TJ be used? Also, trying to figure out the bolt size that was used to secure the side step supports to the frame and the steps to the supports. I know I am opening myself up here but:

1. I will take any and all constructive advice
2. Please be kind to the new guy.....

Thank you all in advance.

Header bar is the same, Soft top frame is different, Door surrounds are the same, tail gate bars are the same.

Bolt sizes are a pain but I think anything after 2003-2006 was the same hardware.

The brackets that bolt to the sport bar and to which you attach the soft top bows are also different for an LJ.

Thanks. Can you suggest a decent site to get a soft top, even without the full frame? I have the door surrounds, header bar and tailgate bar. Thanks

Depending on the year soft top from the TJ, the LJs came with a sun-rider option. You can flip the front portion of the soft top back like a sunroof. If the TJ didn't have this, the door surround would be different if you wanted this in your LJ. There is an anchor point on the door surround, if you will, where the soft top frame pivots at to allow it to open. If you don't care about that, then you can use the TJ surround whether it has it or not.
