P0138 and P0141 but O2 Sensor is gone!

Hello!

Long Story short, I have been getting a P0138 code for a few weeks and finally decided to put in a new O2 sensor yesterday. Got underneath the Jeep and the previous owner had installed a custom exhaust but completely removed the downstream O2 sensor! Now I am getting a P0138 and a P0141 code even though I don't even have a O2 sensor to replace. Any ideas on what I can do? I own a 2004 TJ with the 4.0 ,non California car since I know this applies to O2 sensors. Couple of buddies of mine already told me he could have installed a O2 sensor simulator but I cannot find the wires for the life of me.

Please help a desperate man

In for an answer too. I have the same issue except my downstream 02 sensors are still connected and tied up out of the way. At some point someone had those two cats cut out and a custom pipe was made in place of them. I've been wondering if there is a way to get the check engine light off for both of those codes as well. My jeep seems to run fine ever since I bought it.
