ORO VS Genright VS Savvy...LED tail lights

Im looking for some bolt on tail lights for my 05 TJ and Im trying to decide between these 3

http://www.genright.com/ProductInfo....0#.U7HcxShhWQI

http://www.offroadonly.com/Products/...illights.shtml

http://shop.savvyoffroad.com/product...5&categoryId=3

I will be running a CJ7 tailgate and a flush rear bumper with m spare in the rear compartment...

I dont want to drill holes in the tub at this time...that will come later on with a stretch...

Which of the three offer the best warranty?

Easiest to install?

Best product overall...?

Thanks

The first two are the same product. As far as the Savvy ones go, there have been a small handful of light failures, typically the driver's side and that was due to water intrusion. Once the problem was identified and the stupid hole sealed up with a dab of silicone, that issue has gone away.

The other challenge was to find a process for anodizing the aluminum that was UV proof and once that was done, none of them have faded.

I thought the were very similar but they contain different #s of LEDs...my only thing with the Savvy ones is the similar look to the stock lights...I wish they made a black version to blend in better with the black paint, but they seem to hold up better from what Ive read

Did they stop making the black ones? Glad I got mine.

Savvy is the way to go. I love the oro look. But they don't work half the time. Not sure if they fixed the issue with the newer ones. But mine suck.

I just did the Savvy lights. I like the TJ look combined with the flat style. I have a boatload of Savvy gear on my jeep. It's all been great. I also like the red as opposed a black lens cover.

I have a few years of use in my Savvy lights - Canadian winters, regular water immersion, bumping into stuff - they haven't given me any issues at all.

I had the ORO version... they worked, I didn't have any LED Failures (which I've heard a few reports of on here)... I just never got used to the round light look. Pulled them off and sold to a 4x4 Club Member (who I think still runs them), and upgraded to the Savvy's.

Holding both in my hand the Savvy's looked better (shape, form and finish) and the aluminum housing felt significantly more substantial...meaning if I backed into something and dinged the lights, I'd feel much better about the Savvy's holding up (at least the exterior housing) vs the ORO's.

The LED's on the Savvy's also appeared to be brighter by a fair amount (unscientific nighttime viewing). Overall just looks much better, but that's just a personal preference...Install wasn't substantially different from what I remember.

Also, I'll never spend another dime with ORO due to some of their business "practices" I've heard about over the years.

But I'm often (although recently absent) accused as Savvy Nut Swinger, so take that with a grain of salt...

Savvy is the way to go! My friend is on his 5th replacement pair (LEDs fail) from ORO, he just ordered Savvy yesterday.

Our website needs to be updated. We're not selling the ORO lights any more.

That looks like Steve finally pissed off the wrong folks who copied his lights and made them actually work.
