New ODPA - sensor removal

I just replaced the OEM ODPA in my '06 TJ with a Crown unit. I've read that it's best to use the OEM sensor in the new unit. But on my new unit, the sensor is in there good and tight and I didn't want to force it out. Any tricks for getting it out?

Thanks.

Just remove the bolt holding it on and pull it out. If it seems stuck, you may be able to remove the plastic cover on the opda and push it out from the inside while you are pulling on it. Never seen one that was so tight it was stuck.

Duh....why didn't I think of pushing it from the inside?

Thanks.
