New member, newb Jeep owner

Hello everyone, within the past month I have become a first time Jeep owner, and a second time Jeep owner. (Within about a week of one another) my friend tells me I got bit harder by the Jeep bug than normal lol. My Jeeps intended purposes are to ride woods trails, with a little mix of asphalt.
First Jeep is a ‘99 Sahara with the 2.5l.
Long arm kit, Triangulated Ford 8.8 rear end, Lincoln locked, over the axle track bar, body armor all the way around, heim joint front steering. 35” tires, who knows what lift, plush suspension. It’s rough and ready, just what I wanted.

Then I stumbled upon Jeep #2. 2001 wrangler. I am a gear head and performance enthusiast, so when I saw the second Jeep with a 318 conversion at a nice price, I had to check it out. It ended up being a nicer, all-around Jeep than the first one I purchased. But needs odds and ends.
It has 38” super swampers, 4” of body lift (ugh), front axle has been moved forward 6”, ford 9” rear, long arm kit, Nv3550.

I’m sure I’m forgetting some stuff, but overall I’m happy with both. The 318 swap could’ve been done much better, but I don’t mind a project.

I’m sure I’ll have future questions, and hope i can help others out along the way!

-Eric

Welcome to the forum and TJ world x2.

But, unless something funny happened, this can't be,

First Jeep is a ‘99 Sahara with the 2.5l

Saharas came standard with a 4.0

I am multi-talented, I can talk and piss you off at the same time.

Itís hard to tell, itís got Sahara interior. But thatís not to say that the interior wasnít just swapped in. Itís definitely a 2.5l, no doubt about that lmao.
I never actually ran the Vin on it to double check, because honestly for a woods buggy I didnít really care lol.

Hmmm, not exactly something for the technical forum, more of a new owner forum.

Me, Banditt, Tippie and ole Heep a long!
