Need wiring help with my 5.9L in my TJ

I am currently in the middle of my swap and the wiring is getting to me. I have a 2000 TJ 4.0 with an auto trans and I am swapping in a 2000 5.9L with an auto trans from a Durango. I have been comparing the pinouts on C1,C2, C3 and what I can tell they are identical. I know I will have to change some connectors on the TC since that is from my TJ. Is it possible I could just use the whole harness from the durango?

Yes you can. Some people use the tj harness and add the extra for the injectors, auto, etc. Others just use the dodge harness. I de-pinned both and created my own harness from scratch, using the TJ fuse/relay box. I had to add a transmission relay.

Check continuity on everything, and be prepared for some connectors wired reverse between the two. Also, my factory wiring schematic had a few typos and errors (TPS sensor backwards).

Keep the harness into the TJ dash though, none of that going into the cab needs to change if I remember correctly.

Why did you have to add a trans relay?

I replaced the jeep 32rh with the 46re from the dodge. The dodge solenoid is electronically controlled, and since I use the jeep fuse box, I had to add a fuse and relay to control the transmission.

The pinouts from the pcm are important, but you also need the wiring schematics to know how it goes between the pcm and the sensors. It can be a pain, but let me know if you need help.
