Need Radiator/ Fan replacement advice- Thanks

2004 TJ inline 6 automatic 160,000 miles

Developed a crack in top of radiator today. Want to know opinions on best replacement. I am not willing to spend 350+ on performance radiators but am willing to spend 200+ to get something good.

What do you guys/gals recommend as a good replacement radiator.

Also, I just recently replaced the fan clutch and have been thinking about electric fans. Should I go in this direction at this time or not?

Thanks for your advice.

OEM radiator is your best option.
Stick with the clutch fan.

OEM lasted you 160k miles and presumably was cooling just fine. Why do anything differently?

I have run both OEM and all alum. twin /triple aftermarket... the alum. aftermarket do a much better job off road... but if your just putting around town the OEM plastic crimped design will serve you well.

I still have the OE radiator in my '05 that gets the snot beat out of it.
Never had an issue other than when I don't keep the fins rinsed out.
About 90K miles on it. Hope it goes for a very, very long time because a Mopar radiator for a RHD non-export TJ runs just under $500...

The OE Mopar comes with a 100% aluminum core.

When you have a choice, buy American made.

I really love it when people come in here and ask a question that can be quickly answered by some simple Googling. And then someone takes the time to do their Googling for them and spoon feeds them the information they need along with links for confirmation. And then, you can see the person who asked the question haunting in and out of the thread, but they just disappear afterwards. They never acknowledge that the question was answered or come back to verify that their problem was solved.
