Need help quick - test wiper motor

My windshield wipers stopped working this week. Fuse is good. I suspect the motor is bad. I have the wiper motor assembly out right now. How can I test it? There are 5 wires going to it. I assume that if I apply 12v to 2 of the wires it should run if it's good, correct? The question is ... which 2? Would like to have this fixed in a couple hours. Thanks for any help...

At the motor connector, ground the black wire & put 12v to the brown/white wire next to the black one for low speed & 12v to the red/yellow one, next one over, for high speed.

The diagram above is for the switch & how to test it.
