Move to 1350?

I'm currently in the middle of some big, well big for me, mods. Gears, traction devices, drive line, skids. Anyway, I'm looking over my options in terms of SYE's and drive shafts. In doing so I'm seeing options for U-joint size, usually 1310 or 1350. I was hoping to hear from some people regarding what they did when doing the DS/SYE, did you stick with 1310, did you step up to 1350, did you do something else? Did you do the same with the front? Why?

I'm specifically looking at the JB Conversions super short SYE and probably a Tom Wood's or I may look into Carolina Driveline since their localish.

Depends on what angle your driveline achieves when at full flex/droop. 1350's are larger and tend to bind

As I responded to another of your posts, avoid the 1350 and go either with the 1330 size or stay with 1310. I switched all of my driveshaft u-joints to Spicer 5-1330x u-joints which is a great long-lasting and durable u-joint that causes no binding problems like the 1350 can.

When you have a choice, buy American made.
