LCA Mounts
Dinged up my Drivers side mount pretty good so went ahead and purchased the Heavy Duty Rusty's Offroad replacement brackets. However, upon inspection it seems the aftermarket ones mount straight onto the axle versus the OEM brackets which are slightly angled inward towards the LCA frame brackets. Has anyone encountered this problem? Any suggestions on how i should mount the new ones (i.e. angled/straight)? If i weld them straight, what reference point should i use? I can take some pics when i get home later if it'll help clarify.

...its been awhile since I did mine, but I will go & take a look later & get some pics of mine.

I will say, if you can, weld the channel on more; one of mine is separating & I need to fix it. The fact they only have 2 spots holding the channel in place is a dumb design imo, but hey they're cheap & seem to be pretty strong

The OEM brackets are tacked onto the upper spring mount as well. So that should give you another contact point.

Were you able to get some pics? I guess no one else had any suggestions.

Did you happen to order TJ/LJ/XJ specific brackets? They are angled at 10*. It sounds like you got 0* brackets.

Ordered them through quadratec and they're listed as being TJ,LJ,XJ specific. Here's the link below

I have not heard anything good about Rusty's products, maybe this could be part of the problem...
