pay to get a decent undercoating before they start putting down salt on the roads....its worth the money. as well, wash your jeep to get rid of any salt buildup.

just my $ .02

A 6spd makes it a race car right?

Yes the salt will destroy your vehicles its a known fact why do you think that frame rot is only effecting northern states? You just need to try to wash your vehicle on a day it warms up. As far as the salt air goes, ya on the cape but the rest of state non issue. Like everyone has been saying though just make sure you clean your vehicle!! my uncle is a perfect example he never washes his trucks and they always rot out!! then he *****es im like dude wash that pos and it wouldnt happen!

seriously; be sure to pull the rear wheel wells every few months and power wash in there. get the top of the support that runs right to left along the entire back of jeep. this is the shelf responsable for the two rust holes on the rear corners that are so typical . power wash the small fender supports that are spot welded to the bottoms of the fenders and power wasah the frame inside and the body support rail .

You could undercoat the chassis and have the body oil sprayed
