everyone had their own mod that they do to their jeep. i have three jeeps. so i was just thinking about it. all my atvs, chainsaws , weedeater, and every thing else had a carb. never an issue.
however i have had to change out ideal sensor, tps, crank, computer, speed sensor, and all kinds of other stuff.

so any way, just thought i would try it

Well, personally having owned both fuel injected and carbonated I6ís in Jeeps, I would never go back to a carburetor. Especially if you wheel it. If you are not having any issues with the current fuel injection setup, I wouldnít do it.

i kinda agree with you however i cannot stop thinking about all the time i have spent over the years replacing sensors, computers, and trying to get a check engine light to turn off, compared to the amount of time i have spent doing the same thing to my 85 honda big red 3 wheeler or all my riding lawnmowers and weed eaters and chainsaws.

This simply should not be the experience you've had. Not saying it isn't, saying shouldn't.

For one, 2 cycle carbs suck ***, and I can't imagine anyone going a life time without many, many issues.

Second, the 4.0 fuel injection (and ignition system) are robust. It sounds like you're suffering from misdiagnosed problems or Advancorielyzone parts. Fuel injection systems have issues, but more often than not the causes are well documented on forums like these.

What, exactly, is the problem you're having right now with your Jeep? And would you rather tune a carb at stop signs because of the barometric pressure or temperature or...just cause it's in a bad mood?

97 TJ sport.
