installing dash and body harness for hardtop - '06 TJ

There is a very detailed procedure that's out there for completely replacing a non hardtop wired TJ with a donor dash and body harness from a TJ that had factory hardtop wiring. I was about to jump in and buy a complete '06 hardtop harness, but then I read that the procedure for doing this on an '06 is much more involved. My understanding is the dash has to come out. Anybody out there who has tackled this on an '06? Of course, I would have loved to get my hands on one of those Mopar hardtop wiring kits, but they are nowhere to be found.

Thanks.

I noticed a few years ago that factory TJ parts went out of production and I should have bought a few things! I needed an ABS sensor and my local dealer called my TJ a classic and then told me that they couldn't help me. Fortunately I found the part yet online!

Anyway, I saw this diagram here for a 2006. I noticed that the same diagram shows up for a 2000 TJ.

Seeing the part number, I also found the instructions on Quadratec (although also out of stock there).

Last, I did find a few parts here, but yes, I don't see any kits.
