98 with 140K, so far the only major problem I might have is my steering components...steering box, stabilizer, etc....steering box could be a killer though

'99 Sport just clicked over 150k yesterday. Have done a few things like rear main, exhaust mani, steering gear box, shocks, and regular tune ups / maintenance. Still runs great looking forward to another 150!

Guy in my club has a '98 TJ w/ 215k+ miles on it. Daily drives it AND has been wheel'n it for the last 10 years.

I think only problems he had was replacing a front unit bearing and replacing the chain in the t-case at about 195k miles or so, oh, and replacing a radiator.

Mine is an '01 w/ 75k on it and I've had more problems including replacing the transmission and the transfercase. The tranny was more a freak thing and the t-case was a trail failure due to low fluid levels. A/C pully bearing went out. Fan resistor pack went out. Unit bearing went out. Original set of rotors went bad.

Plus some self-inflicted tail damage to more or less cosmetic stuff.

I have a 2001 with 77K I bought it in 2004 with about 51k on it. It was my DD until 7 months ago.

Nothing too major as happened, the clutch went out on me after a offroad trip around 65k miles. It was a offroad area that is apparently "cursed" (anyone that has wheeled Reiter Pits already knows). And last summer the fan clutch went out. Oh and I snapped a D35 axle shaft. But that was bound to happend with 33's and 5 years of heavy foot driving.
