How to identify my steering control arm/draglink

Hello jeepsters ,i am doing a 97 jeep tj restoration and upon doing the tear down on the front steering i have noticed along with the 6" of lift it has a very heavy duty steering arm and drag link, the arm itself is 1.500 in dia and has been painted a few times and i do not see and type of markings on the control arm,as for the drag link there are numbers on the adjustable left hand 1 /1/8th thread [i beleive?] letters and numbers are[k h 322] ,i was able to get the drag link tie rod to turn on one end and it needs a new tie rod can i buy just the tie rod or do i haveto buy the whole assembly threaded end with tie rod??. any help would be appreciated ,thank you.

Any way you could post some more pictures of the rest of the components?
That looks like Rough Country but I really have no idea.

You might be able to find a replacement TRE here: http://www.partsmike.com/index.php/c...e-rod-draglink

Could be a custom steering setup. All three of my rigs have steering built using DOM and one-ton Chevy rod ends. Cheap to build your own steering.

When you have a choice, buy American made.

thread size

Yes jerry i believe that may be the case as they used d.o.m tubing ,it looks like the ends were welded making me think if it was bought they can thread the ends to what the customer needed or if it was made they threaded it then welded on the end, i found the thread to be a metric thread m22 x 1.5 and i was also directed from another jeepster a web site to try and find the heims, thanks again jerry.

I think you need at least 10 posts to upload a picture. Your are now at 10, so you should be able to now. Give it another shot.
