I have a 2003 Wrangler, how do I turn on the interior lights? Only way I know is by opening the door which is ridiculous...

Twist the headlight switch (middle) until it clicks.

That doesn’t work. The fog lights were stuck on so I unplugged them. The icon still stays on, on the dash. It’s the same switch so it must be faulty.

This is what you should be using. It also controls the dimming function. Rotate or push all the way forward or away from you until it clicks twice. First detent is full bright on dash cluster. Second detent is dome lite on.

Fog lights are on the stalk in an ‘03? In my ‘04 auto the fog lights are on the dash panel next to the overdrive button.

On my 03,' you pull the end of the multifunction switch lever out (left) for the fogs. See pic above.

p.s. 2jhanna will explain it in better detail.

i wish i could help you, if i could i would. wife came home yesterday and told me that her fog lights stopped working on her 06 liberty.
so now i am out in the cold pulling bulbs and testing wires to see what is going on.
bulbs look brand new.
so i go and ask her, when was the last time you actually saw the lights working?
she is iike, never. they have never worked
so now i go to the owners manual and see where you have to pull the end of the blinker control out and twist it.
then the lights come on while on dim or when the parking lights come on.
seriously, in 10 years she has never even turned them on and i have never even looked at them.
i dont drive it at all. i just keep it up.

i tried to explain to my wife, their is a big difference in stopped working and never. lol dont think that this worked but at least i know from now on to go the easiest route.

My ‘04 Rubicon is the same way.

And you have to turn them back on each time you turn on the lights because they automatically turn off when you twist the stalk back to the ‘off’ position for the headlights.

That's very odd. Those 4 spots are supposed to be locker, OD, rear defroster, rear wiper.

Well, instead of working from memory I actually went out to the rig and looked. Sure enough - the fogs are on the stalk. Don’t know what I was thinking. There is a fog light switch on the dash panel, but I put it there. It looks so much like stock I even apparently fooled myself...

You do some quality work.

p.s. I had to check mine before I posted. My XJ has the switch on the dash.
