High Angle Tie-Rod End Options

Hi There,

I am looking for a high angle tie-rod end for the frame mount of the panhard rod on my 1997 TJ. I have a 3" lift and it seems to be binding at extreme droop, so I was wondering if there is a common high angle tie-rod end that people commonly upgrade to?

I am keen to stick with the taper fit tie-rod end as per stock rather than a heim joint type thing.

Garage
on the factory track bar or panhard rod, the tie rod end is not serviceable.
its a solid rod end to end.

i have not seen a tie rod end with extra misalignment.

most go to an adjustable track bar with a johnny joint or heim joint end.
or they go to double shear mounts and bar.

careful, most track bars dont fit well at all.

Hi Joe Jeep,

My trackbar is aftermarket with a removable tie-rod end. Not sure of the builder of this one, could be home built.

I am thinking to replace it with a GM 1-Ton version like this. They claim 30 degrees rather than 20 degrees.

Does anyone have any experience with these parts?

It looks like a better option than a heim joint as it keeps the taper lock.
