Help me find linkage for A/C mode selector switch.

So my A/C mode selector works for defrost and feet, but not the face. I tracked the issue down to the plastic connector that connects the vacuum actuator to the dampener, right behind the cigarette lighter.

I have checked all the parts stores, rockauto, wermopar, etc and can't find it. The local pick-n-pull only has a 98, but that uses a different style.

Does anyone know where I would be able to local this part. See attached pictures to see what I am talking about.

I got mine off amazon but look different than those, I’ve read people super glued them back in but I’d rather change it

I have not had mine fall out or break so not sure what the late ones look like so I have to ask what is wrong with that one?

Here is a co. that makes the early ones but a search might find they have the later ones too.

Omix-Ada 17910.01 (replaces 4886086AB)
Omix-Ada 17910.02 (replaces 5014108AA)

& on Google

https://www.google.com/search?q=Omix...A&ved=0CC4Qsxg

Hope this helps. It is somewhat common for the early ones (shown) to fall out & may be held in with a sheet metal or drywall screw. I have not seen problems with the later type. If you find them, post results here.

It is broken where I circled. It should mirror the arm that’s still there. They go inside the hole and snap in place with the nubs on the end retaining the parts together...

The early ones used only 1 barb but are you saying the later ones use 2 & one of them is broken off?

And without the 2nd one it will just fall out, right?

Hey, thanks for the links and replies!

Yeah, without the second barb it just falls out.

I figured I could just glue it in, but would rather actually fix it.

The earlier models have a different set up. They have a white arm that is shorter.

I will have to dig into those links after dinner.

That is on my list of places to call. I did reach out to Collins brothers, but haven't heard back. Thanks.

Davey's had that part on hand and I got it shipped. Davey was super fast to respond and great to work with.
