Help with gear ratio and speedo gears..

I think that I have 3.07 gears but am not sure. Here's a link to the tag that is on the front differential cover.

Assuming that I have 3.07 gears which speedo gear do I need to get? I'm running 31x10.5 BFG's. Based on

http://www.4x4xplor.com/speedo.html

It looks like I need part number 52067627 i.e. 27 teeth

This is the tag on then diff cover:

Yep, a 27 tooth is what you want and the tag confirms you're running 3.07 axles.

When you have a choice, buy American made.

SWEET! Thanks for all the responses. So now my question is, I see alot of people re-gearing to 4.10 and higher. Is it worth it for me to re-gear? I may be just mis-informed but isn't a 3.07 not very desireable?

A 3.07 ratio generally makes a Jeep a real dog. Regearing is a commonly done thing that can completely transform a Jeep once bigger tires are added. However, at the $1200-1300 it typically costs, you don't want to spend the $$$ until you're at a tire size that you think you'll be staying at for a while. For 31" tires, I don't think I'd regear yet. But if you get tires bigger than that, then it's time to regear to a lower ratio. Auto trannies are far more forgiving of mismatched tires sizes and ratios so if you're fortunate enough to have an auto, that will help.

When you have a choice, buy American made.

Cool, thanks for the guidance!!! I have a requirement to stay at my 2" lift and 31's...the other half has dictated no higher

But I've been contemplating getting Rubicon axles for front and rear so if I did that, then I'd get them with 4.10's.....
